For SS17 British contemporary menswear label,
Universal Works, have taken inspiration from mid-century Cuban rebels and Havana locals alike. The mix of military and workwear cuts, smart jackets, collared shirts and vibrant patterns are apparent throughout the collection. The accompanying lookbook found on the brand's website is worth a look if you fancy researching such an outfit. The underlining colour palette is minimal and earthy, with stone, ecru, olive and navy ever present at the forefront.
What We Like.
We've carefully curated a selection that compliments both our store and our taste. A standout piece would be the spot/star
navy bomber, constructed from breathable summer-friendly cotton. However, if you're more inclined to keep things subtle, the
Bakers Overshirt could well be for you. Taking the traditional Bakers Jacket design and building it from incredibly lightweight fabric is what we love about this piece. Available in wearable
dark stone &
navy colourways, it's a perfect mid layer for when the temperature rises.

If you're lacking in the accessory department, look no further. This season we have a pair of vibrant
neckerchiefs, ideal for perking up an otherwise plain summer shirt. Not forgetting your Southern half, we have a small selection of aptly named '

Lastly, we are very excited to announce our first line of Universal Works X Novesta shoes. Taking the classic
Star Master and
