OTD - 30 April 1993 - World Wide Web

The World Wide Web:

Seeing as we are coming to the end of the month, we thought we'd see it out with an On This Day. We are a techy bunch of people here at Number Six (...well some of us) and we thought it quite fitting that we should bring you an on this day which is tech related. The 30th of April 1993 saw CERN put World Wide Web Software in the public domain. That's right it's been 23 years since the internet was made available for everyone to use. We find that pretty amazing especially considering how much we rely on the internet now. How else would we be able to spread the word of great clothing to the world?
