Hands up who is going to be eating close to their own body weight in chocolate this weekend?? Well if you are, make sure you are in a refrigerated room as any attempt to get some down you this weekend could well end up in melted chocolate getting all over the place. Just a friendly word of advice.
Another bit of friendly advice, have a look at what the good ship Number Six has to offer you this week. We have some UK exclusives that we have been waiting on for some time now from our good friends in Australia at the superbly named Vanishing Elephant. Their shoes, very much like their clothing, is a joy to behold and if you are looking for something that is a little bit (but not too much) different to the plethora of lookalikes of lookalikes that are all too evident in the market place right now, then these are your boys.
As if to co-incide with this lovely weather we are experiencing, the good chaps at Adidas Originals have delivered us a little example of everything that is good about everyones German sports brand of choice. Bright tee shirts and classic trainers, just how we remember them, is what makes us go all misty eyed and nostalgic at the memories of growing up with over the years and Adidas being a big part of those golden years.
Finally this week, and with all of the talk being about good weather, we think it is highly appropriate to end up showing you our undisputed, favourite short of 2011. An all over embroidered style from Ralph Lauren is nothing new from that master of all that is preppy, but a short with all over embroidery of little men playing cricket is something very special indeed......yes, we said little men playing cricket. Do you know of a more suitable garment for the great British Summertime??.....(even though it is still officially Spring)...we are all ears!!
