Winter is coming. The Barbour AW13 pieces are tricking in at a steady pace here at
Number Six London and we thought it would be a great opportunity to talk about some of our favourite pieces. It doesn’t get any more iconic than Barbour. The brand has been going strong since 1894 when it was founded in South Shields in the North East of England and continues to be family run business currently in its 5th generation. The Barbour AW13 collection continues with the tradition of delivering quality pieces that are at just at home in the countryside as they are in the hustle and bustle of the city.
One of our favourites has to be the
Barbour Fresh Water Cords available in Navy and Ruby. These 100% cotton cords have a beautiful embroidered fish pattern all over them. They also feature rear button welt pockets and come in a regular fit.
The Barbour Black Bridle Jacket raises the bar with its quality grey/black wool tweed construction and is perfect for those colder months that are just around the corner. The jacket makes a fantastic layering piece and features a two button fastening with an optional high neck throat tab closure to keep the elements at bay. There’s also a panel tartan lining with tartan detail to the underside of the collar and rear vents. You can shop the entire
Barbour AW13 collection in-store and
online.
