“Realising the potential”

The team over in Denmark have always done things a bit differently. Their mindset starts with appreciating the power of a decent pair of socks, and crafting them to be the best quality possible. It’s about realising the potential that they’ve got to do an outfit justice with a simple, everyday item. If you ask us lot here at Number Six, we all know Democratique are the most wearable styles about.

Each season the design team bring out a new and improved production technique. For AW17, we’ve brought in the Relax Sailor range; an even softer version than the previous Bubble Line knits. All of Democratique’s work comes pre-washed to make sure the colour lasts as long as possible, and they’re even more durable than usual. Standard practise for them, exceptional quality for the rest of us.

“Timeless design… unique edge”

The whole collection has still got some classic favourites, like the 8 by 8 Weave. This one’s the same as when it was first knitted in their traditional mills back in the day. Just like anything we bring in at Number Six, they’re made to last. Timeless design with a bit of unique edge is what makes these guys stand out, and we’re more than happy to have them back for the new season.
